2015 Grafton Show

The Grafton Show was held this weekend. The camera club sponsored the photography section again as it does every year. Michelle and Danny Thornton have spent many hours in the week leading up to the show helping in the Barn to put up not only the photographs but also all the other entries that are on display in the Barn. Other camera club members helped with taking entries, matting photos, record keeping for the judges and helping out at the show itself - thanks Lyn Usher, Kerrie Bowles, Greg and Carol Norman, Bev Crockett, Dana Simpson and Terry Lilley.

Friday night was a wet and dismal affair but it didn't dampen the excitement for those who found out that they had won with their photos - there was even jumping up and down - from the adults too!

The winning junior entry from Flynn Hodgson was a beautiful sunrise photo which was given a perfect score from all the judges. Katrina Wade had the winning adult entry with a stunning monochrome photo.
