Ulmarra Photo Rally - November 2018

The Grafton Camera Club held its bi annual Camera Rally on Sunday 11th of November which encompassed the historical township of Ulmarra and the surrounding area. Some members of the Lismore camera club also traveled down and participated in the Rally.

The objective of the “fun day out” was to challenge the participants to photograph a list of 16 topics within the specified time of 4 hours. The participants were only allowed to take one photograph per topic. No deleting and retaking or editing of images was allowed. It Sounds like a lot of time, but the topics are only issued after registration and the time goes so quickly when seeking out the topics, looking at the angles, creating the composition and finally pushing the shutter. The rally concluded at the Ulmarra Hotel where stories of great shots and mistakes were exchanged over lunch. The results will be displayed at the first meeting on Thursday 10th January 2019, commencing at 6.30 pm.
